Single Touch Payroll

Single Touch Payroll (STP) is an Australian Government initiative reporting framework for employers to government agencies. With STP, employers report payroll information for each employee to the Australian Taxation Office every time employees are paid. This is done through software enabled for STP. The payroll information reported includes salaries, wages, PAYG tax withholding, and superannuation liability details.

Single Touch Payroll is a mandatory obligation for all employers.
